The Association of Trade and Forfaiting in the Americas ("ATFA") was founded in 1995 and is a not-for-profit association of trade finance professionals that promotes informational exchange regarding the best practices of global trade finance in the Americas.
ATFA currently boasts over 80 members comprising banks, hedge funds, insurance companies, law firms and various corporations actively invovled in Trade Finance.
In recent years, ATFA has been busy staging networking receptions throughout the Americas (see Events page) and as a result has seen its membership quadruple!! We expect to remain just as active in 2012 and are planning to host a seminar-reception on February 8th at the Yale Club of New York, along with receptions in Sao Paulo, Santiago and Panama shortly afterwards. Our annual membership fee is US$600.
In spite of the prevailing 'global crises', ATFA continues to successfully raise its profile and boost its membership. We believe that our forum is ever more valuable during these trying times.
